Aissatou Tounkara is the definition of quiet strength, perseverance and listening.
She started at the Buttes Chaumont FC club, where she stayed until the fall of 2008
From the age of 9, Aïssatou imposed her speed and physique above average.

His teammate Elisa Da Almeida develops and recounts an episode that marked him and shows Aissatou Tounkara’s steel mind: “After his injury, I sent him a message, I will always remember his answer. She told me not to worry, that she would come back stronger. She did it, she came back even better and more determined.”
She signed for Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2018.
Since then, she has come back very well, winning in Madrid and winning the Spanish championship in her new home.
